An IndiGo flight, 6E 441/238, travelling from Bengaluru to Pune and then Chennai, was diverted to Mumbai because of bad weather in Pune. Due to heavy rainfall and strong winds, the flight landed in Pune nearly three and a half hours late. Pune Airport Director, Santosh Dhoke, stated that "the diversion was made in the interest of passenger safety".
