The Indonesian government is in early discussions with billionaire Elon Musk's Tesla about a potential investment in the nation. Ayodhia Kalake, a senior government official, said Tesla had reached out to the government informally about the investment, but he did not specify what it had in mind. Kalake said Indonesia has a number of incentives for investment in EVs.
