Indonesia has signed a $10 billion deal to purchase 48 Turkish KAAN fifth-generation fighter jets—Turkey's first major export of its indigenous stealth aircraft. The agreement was finalised during the Indo Defence Expo 2025 in Jakarta and includes co-production with Indonesian defence contractors. The first deliveries are expected in 2028.
