Indore’s AMRUT 2.0 infrastructure project was flagged in the National Progress Comparison Report. The report said the ₹1,074.14 crore project showed no physical progress updates on the official government portal. The project planned to expand Narmada-based water intake and construct a major water treatment plant. The findings come after nine people died in Indore after drinking contaminated water.
