Infosys has been fined $224.7 (over ₹18,600) by the Nevada Department of Taxation in US over "short payment of modified business tax" between Q4 2021 to Q1 2022. Short payment refers to payment that is less than the invoiced amount, Moneycontrol reported. Meanwhile, Infosys said it doesn't expect material impact on financials, operations or other activities due to the fine.
