Infosys on Sunday said it would build a software development centre in Uttar Pradesh's Noida, with an initial investment of about ₹750 crore. India's second-biggest software services exporter said the 2.7 million square feet facility would be able to accommodate 5,000 staff. PM Narendra Modi felicitated the project as part of the 'Rising UP, Powering New India' event in Lucknow.
