Infosys was on Monday awarded a contract of Rs 1,380 crore to build and maintain the technology network for the proposed Goods and Services Tax (GST) for a period of five years, according to GST Network Chairman Navin Kumar. The government has asked Infosys to complete the process by March-end 2016 and taxpayers can avail the services from 1st October.
