Insect-sized drones that act like insects, can survive collision made

Researchers from MIT and Harvard have developed insect-sized drones that look, act and manoeuvre like actual insects and are built to withstand a collision. The robots could help in pollinating crops or performing inspections in cramped spaces, researchers said. They can flap their wings nearly 500 times per second and can also do manoeuvres like somersaults in the air.
