Instagram has finally allowed images and videos of landscape and portrait orientation to be posted on both its iOS and Android applications. Earlier, an element needed to fit Instagram’s compulsory square cropping, which when done through other applications, often led to whitespace. It has also made its filters “universal”, meaning photo filters can be used on videos and vice versa.
