Instagram limits access to user data for unofficial apps

Facebook-owned Instagram has limited the access to user data for third-party developers as part of its plans to change its API. Instagram has reduced the number of times developers can pull data from its API from 5,000 calls per hour to 200 calls per hour. Earlier, Facebook also said it would cut off access to third-party data for ad targeting.
