An investigation by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) found that Instagram Reels show explicit content, including "risqué footage of children", to those who follow young influencers. It also revealed that ads of several companies including Bumble and Disney appeared between such content. The Journal produced a manufactured experience that doesn't represent what billions of users see, Meta said.
