InsuranceDekho CEO Ankit Agrawal announced on Tuesday that the insurtech startup has acquihired Verak, a Mumbai-based SME insurance distribution company. Lightspeed India-backed Verak is its founder Rahul Mathur's second venture after he decided to shut down his insurtech startup BimaPe. Earlier this year, InsuranceDekho raised $150 million in a Series A round.
