Intel is planning to lay off over 10,000 employees in July. The layoff is expected to impact between 15-20% of the foundry workforce. "These are difficult actions but essential to meet our affordability challenges and the company's current financial position," Intel Manufacturing Vice President Naga Chandrasekaran said in a memo. Reportedly, the cuts will affect roles in 10 global locations.
