Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) claimed that the intelligence chief of Iran’s Basij Force, Esmail Ahmadi, was killed in a strike on Tehran. IDF further said that Ahmadi was responsible for enforcing public order and the regime’s values on behalf of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Ahmadi also lead major suppression operations during recent internal protests in Iran, IDF claimed.
