Intense snowstorms likely hit Mars during night: Study

Mars probably experiences fast-falling snowstorms during night time, researchers claim, based on computer models of the Martian atmosphere. The team suggests strong winds triggered due to clouds and not gravity, as thought earlier, could be responsible for swiftly pulling the snow down. Notably, NASA's Phoenix, which landed in 2008, was the first to measure snow particles on the Red planet.
