Government left interest rates unchanged on multiple small savings schemes, including Public Provident Fund (PPF) and National Savings Certificate (NSC), for the sixth straight quarter beginning July 1, 2025. The interest rates for PPF and post office savings deposit schemes are retained at 7.1% and 4%, respectively. Interest rate on NSC will remain at 7.7% for the April-June 2025 period.
