4:3 intermittent fasting plan more effective than daily calorie cuts: Study

A new study by the Annals of Internal Medicine found that a specific form of intermittent fasting may be more effective for weight loss than daily calorie restriction. The 4:3 intermittent fasting plan works better, the study said. Researchers studied 165 adults and found those on intermittent fasting lost 7.6% body weight, while those on daily calorie restriction lost 5%.
