An internal rift at ChatGPT-maker OpenAI has pitched CEO Sam Altman against CFO Sarah Friar after the latter expressed concerns for the startup's plans to go public, The Information reported. Altman has begun excluding Friar from several discussions related to OpenAI's infrastructure and capital strategy. Friar reportedly believes OpenAI isn't organisationally ready for an IPO this year.
