The Punjab Cabinet on Monday cleared a proposal to set up an international civil terminal at Air Force Station, Halwara in Ludhiana district. The Punjab government will provide over 135 acres of land, free of charge, for the terminal. Further, the terminal will be jointly developed by the state government and Airports Authority of India.
