Several international banks operating in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are set to adopt a Monday-Friday work week from January 2022. Wall Street-based JPMorgan Chase & Co and France's Societe Generale said they will implement a Saturday-Sunday weekend from January. UAE recently announced that it will adopt a four-and-a-half day working week with a Saturday-Sunday weekend from January 1, 2022.
