After Gautam Adani was charged in the US over alleged $250 million bribery, Congress' communications in-charge Jairam Ramesh in a post on X questioned the "intimate nexus between PM Modi and his favourite businessman". "The US SEC's actions also cast poor light on how its Indian counterpart SEBI investigated violations of securities and other laws by Adani Group," he added.
