Market investors lost over ₹8,40,000 crore on Friday as Sensex dropped over 2% to end in red, thereby breaking its two-day rally. The amount lost is nearly half of the amount gained by the investors during the rally. Notably, Sensex had risen on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump announced a 5-day pause in attacks on the Iranian energy sector.
