The BSE Sensex fell 1,053.10 points to 70,370.55, while the Nifty50 dropped 333.00 points to 21,238.80 on Tuesday. With this, investors lost around ₹8.50 lakh crore of wealth in a day. The market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies currently stands at ₹3,65,97,915.97 crore. Among the Sensex firms, IndusInd Bank was the biggest loser on Tuesday, falling 5.87%.
