Investors lost over ₹8 lakh crore from their wealth after Sensex crashed over 1,600 points on Thursday. Sensex dropped over 2%, while Nifty crashed over 500 points to hit 25,232. Shares of Maruti Suzuki, Larsen & Toubro and Asian Paints were among the top losers. Iran-Israel conflict and SEBI's new F&O rules were among the possible reasons for the crash.
