Nearly ₹2.5 lakh crore was wiped off investors' wealth on Monday as Sensex plunged 1,172 points to settle at 57,166 amid weak global cues. The market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies dropped to ₹269.48 lakh crore from ₹ 272.12 lakh crore in the previous session. Infosys, HDFC, HDFC Bank, Tech Mahindra, Wipro and TCS were among the top losers on Monday.
