BYJU'S Founder Byju Raveendran said investors pushed the edtech startup "to grow aggressively" but "many ran away after the bad spell started fearing liabilities". Three of BYJU'S investors, Prosus, Peak XV Partners and Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, left the board together last year. "[It] made new fundraise impossible and that is why we're here," he added.
