iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to launch on September 9, will eliminate physical SIM slot to rely solely on an e-SIM card, reports stated. Apple may launch this model in more countries, unlike its first e-SIM-only model–iPhone 14 and 14 Pro, which were only sold in US. Apple is training retail partners in European Union for the e-SIM transition.
