Relocating iPhone's production from China to India would increase its retail price by 2% to $1,008, JP Morgan stated. However, this is cheaper than the 30% increase in iPhone's retail price of $1,285 if its production were done in US. Although making iPhones in India can cost more than in China, Apple will still make a profit margin of 45%.
