The Sri Lankan pacer Dushamantha Chameera has been named as a replacement for Gus Atkinson in IPL 2024. Chameera did not feature in IPL 2023 due to injuries. Chameera has been bought with a base price of 50 Lakhs whereas Gus Atkinson was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders during the IPL auction that took place on 19th December 2023.
