After India's whitewash against Ireland in T20I series, ex-India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin said, "The kind of 24-carat batting pitches we see in IPL weren't available [in Ireland]." He noted the real value of India batters at international level will be tested when they play on bowling-friendly pitches, adding batters who come straight from IPL would face difficulties on such pitches.
