Senior Supreme Court counsel Harish Salve has accused Indian captain MS Dhoni of making false statements to the Justice Mudgal committee appointed by the apex court to inquire into allegations of betting against BCCI chief N Srinivasan's son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan. While deposing before the committee, Dhoni had corroborated Srinivasan's remarks that Meiyappan was a mere cricket enthusiast.
