Batting first, Mumbai put up 187/6 on the board with Lendl Simmons 65(51) and Pollard 41(17) providing a solid start and a blazing finish respectively. Malinga (23-3) and Harbhajan (26-2) then bundled Chennai out for 162 in 19 overs.
