India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has started Aadhaar-based face authentication to make digital transactions more secure and convenient, especially for differently-abled and elderly people. The feature allows banking transactions via facial recognition, eliminating the need for fingerprints or OTPs. This ensures safe banking during health emergencies, where physical contact may be risky.
