A 2010-batch Karnataka IPS officer, Vartika Katiyar, has filed a complaint of dowry-related violence and harassment against her husband, IFS officer, Niteen Yeola and his family. She also accused him of physical abuse, stating that he fractured her hand by hitting her with a marble box in 2016. Katiyar added that he abused her during her pregnancy as well.
