Iran clears bill to criminalise interviews with 'hostile' foreign media outlets

Iran’s parliament has approved a bill criminalising interviews and other communications with foreign media outlets considered hostile to Islamic Republic, including US and Israeli media outlets. It still requires approval from Guardian Council before it can become law. Once enacted, people who give interviews with media outlets deemed hostile could face between six months and two years in prison.
