Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has warned against excessive water consumption which he said was untenable for the country and could leave its capital Tehran facing severe water shortages by September-October, state media reported. Iran is experiencing one of its worst droughts on record, and its fifth consecutive year of drought, as per several reports.
