Iran's Deputy Chief of Mission to India, Mohammad Javad Hosseini, said the country is willing to engage in peace negotiations if Israeli military action against Iran is condemned. He argued that Israel attacked Iran on the pretext of some "baseless allegations". "We tried to resort to the UN charter as a self-defence and retaliated," Hosseini added.
