Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said Iranian parliament is preparing a bill to leave the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), adding Iran remains opposed to development of weapons of mass destruction. NPT's objective is to prevent spread of nuclear weapons and weapons technology. Israel began bombing Iran last week, in a move to block Tehran from developing atomic weapons.
