Iran has publicly executed two men convicted for their involvement in the anti-government protests of January 2026. According to the Mehr News Agency, the executions took place in a public square in Malekshahr city in Isfahan province. The men were found guilty of attacking police officers with machetes and knives, tying them to road signs and setting them on fire.
