Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei said that avenging his late predecessor and father was "the demand of the nation" and "must certainly" take place. "We pledge to avenge your innocent blood," Khamenei said. His statement comes just a day after ex-Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was laid to rest 130 days after he was killed in a US-Israel attack.
