Iran's warship confronts Indian oil tanker attempting to cross Strait of Hormuz

An Iranian warship confronted Indian-flagged oil tanker HAANA oil tanker attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz, Iran's Fars news agency reported. The tanker was reportedly deterred from continuing after receiving a warning from the Iranian warship, it added. The tanker had reportedly attempted to pass through the southern route of the strait, also known as the Oman corridor.
