The US has not offered Iran sanctions relief in exchange for reopening the Hormuz Strait, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Tuesday before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for the first time since war began. Stating that the sanctions were tied to Iran's nuclear program, he said, "If they agree to give up those things...there will be sanctions ​relief."
