Iran on Tuesday unveiled an underground air base during a ceremony attended by senior Iranian military commanders, state media reported. Called "Eagle 44", the base is capable of storing and operating fighter jets and drones, the report said. Tehran also released pictures purportedly showing personnel and fighter aircraft at the base. The location of the military facility was not disclosed.
