Mojtaba Khamenei, second-eldest son of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, owns properties worth ₹1,255 crore in UK, reported Bloomberg. Mojtaba, who is seen as Khamenei's potential successor, also owns a villa in Dubai and luxury hotels across Europe, despite US sanctions imposed on him in 2019. The funds, routed from UK, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, originate primarily from Iranian oil sales.
