Iran's state broadcaster influenced 2014 Scottish referendum: Facebook

Iran's state broadcaster used fake social media accounts to influence result of 2014 Scottish independence referendum, a Facebook report said. The Iranian network had over 500 accounts and posted pro-leave content, as per a social network analysis company. Facebook took down eight networks, including one linked to Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Corporation, over "inauthentic behaviour".
