IRFC has issued a Letter of Award to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), GIFT City branch, for a $300 million External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) facility. The 5-year loan includes bullet repayment and semi-annual interest payments. Proceeds will be used in line with RBI’s ECB regulations, supporting IRFC’s financial and operational requirements.
