Irish Air Corps rediscover WWII ÉIRE sign following wildfire

Air Corps have rediscovered a World War II-era ÉIRE sign along the Irish coast after a wildfire burned the ground. The sign, which means Ireland in the Irish language, was used to warn both Allied and German pilots that they were flying over a neutral country. Over 80 ÉIRE signs were carved around the Irish coast during WWII.
