Italian researchers have unveiled iRonCub3, the world’s first jet-powered flying humanoid robot. Developed by the Italian Institute of Technology, the 70 kg robot hovered 50 cm off the ground using four jet engines. Designed for disaster response and extreme environments, it marks a major step toward combining human-like mobility with flight for real-world applications.
