Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena wrote to CM Rekha Gupta, raising concerns over the order on end-of-life vehicles. He said it was irrational to imagine that a 10-year-old diesel vehicle reached its end of life despite remaining roadworthy. The government had banned fuel for end-of-life vehicles; however, it later requested Commission for Air Quality Management to put ban on hold.
