Actor Chiranjeevi posted on X that the passing away of Veteran Telugu actor Kota Srinivasa Rao is "an irreplaceable loss to the film industry and to all cinema lovers." He stated, "Every role he (Rao) played was done with such excellence that it felt as if only he could've done justice to it." Rao passed away due to prolonged illness.
